I am a watershed biogeochemist and study aquatic ecosystem function in response to environmental change. My research examines the fate of organic matter and nutrients as they traverse the land-to-ocean margin, and I develop approaches to quantify ecosystem transformation and resilience following disturbance.
I am currently a postdoctoral scholar at Duke University and received my PhD from the University of California, Santa Barbara. I was previously a Modelscapes postdoctoral scholar at the University of Nevada Reno. I have also held research positions at the Stroud Water Research Center, the Southern California Coastal Water Research Project, and in laboratories at Vassar College, the University of Iowa, and Texas A&M University at Galveston. |
